在我过去的生活里，我常常感觉到一种深深的空虚。童年过得不好, 父母对自己的粗暴对待, 让我的脾气很暴躁, 常常感到孤独无助. 我时常无法控制自己的情绪, 对待很多事情都是抱着很负面消极的看法. 日复一日，我发现自己对生活缺乏热情，对家庭的关心也显得苍白无力。我将全部的精力都投入到了工作中来逃避生活中的空虚感，忽视了生活中真正重要的东西。然而，当我遇到基督耶稣，一切都开始改变。我读到基督耶稣对我们无私的爱, 我听到Vinh Doan牧师分享天父如何带领他迷途知返, 听到袁幼軒博士分享基督耶稣如何把他从一个毒贩和同性恋者带回到属灵的成长道路. 这些无不带给我深深的震撼. 我决心让耶稣住在我的心中，成为我的引导和灵感。随着时间的推移，我开始理解到生活的真正意义，它关乎于爱与感恩。
我开始深深感激我的妻子对我默默的支持和付出，感激上帝赐予我两个充满活力的可爱女儿, 感激教会中那些鼓励和支持我的兄弟姐妹。特别是周六的弟兄会, 每一次我都感到温暖并让我心怀感恩. 感谢弟兄们帮助我, 让我在成长为一个真男人的路上不在孤单.
自从认识了基督耶稣, 我学会了珍惜生活中遇到的每一个好心人，我的生活因为这份新发现的感恩而变得丰富多彩。
爱和感恩不仅改变了我对生活的看法，也深化了我对上帝恩典的认识。是上帝对我们的爱启发了我们去爱他人。感谢上帝在我属灵成长旅程中的引导，并期待着未来在祂的爱中继续成长。
In my past life, I often felt a deep emptiness. I had a bad childhood, my parents treated me badly, which made me very short-tempered, and I often felt lonely and helpless. I was often unable to control my emotions and had a negative outlook on many things. Day after day, I found that I lacked enthusiasm for life and my concern for my family paled in comparison. I put all my energy into my work to escape the emptiness in my life, neglecting what was really important in life. However, everything began to change when I encountered Jesus Christ. I read about Christ’s selfless love for us, I heard Pastor Vinh Doan share how the Father led him back from being lost, and I heard Dr. Christopher Yuan share how Jesus Christ brought him back from being a drug dealer and a homosexual to a path of spiritual growth. All of this deeply moved me. I was determined to let Jesus live in my heart and be my guide and inspiration. As time went on, I began to understand the true meaning of life, which is about love and gratitude.
started to deeply appreciate my wife’s silent support and dedication; I became thankful for the two energetic and lovely daughters God has given me; I felt grateful for the brothers and sisters in the church who encouraged and supported me. Especially during the Saturday meetings of ‘The Quest for Authentic Manhood’, I always felt warm and grateful. I am thankful to the brothers and sisters who ensured I was not alone on my journey to grow into a real man.
Since knowing Jesus Christ, I’ve learned to cherish every kind person I meet in life, and my life has been enriched because of this newfound gratitude.
Love and gratitude not only changed my view of life but also deepened my understanding of God’s grace. It is God’s love for us that inspires us to love others. I’m thankful for God’s guidance on my journey of spiritual growth, and I look forward to continuing to grow in His love in the future.
